Has anyone had an experience growing San Pedro cactuses. I just ordered my first to and some seeds. We also are getting a Peruvian torch soon. Think I opened a whole new can of growing worms here lol. Can’t wait I’m super excited. If anyone has any advice on growing them please reach out I’d love to pick your brain not your nose. Have a blessed day and safe weekend!!!

Hey there . I Have a garden with the three varieties . Patchnoi.,Peruvianus and Bridgessii..I used small jars and filled them 3/4 the way with cactus soil and then like an inch of vermiculite on top. I watered them and poured off the excess water . I thne placed the seeds in the vermiculite like 1/4 inch below and covered them with lid on jar to keep in the moisture . After like 3 weeks to one month youll see a lil cactus sprout . Make sure to keep it moist . I put plastic wrap on top and secured it with a rubber band to make it air tight then poked two small holes in plastic wrap to allow air once they were germinated . I kept in the jar for about 1 yr and transplanted them into lil pots that had cactus soil . These are 9 yrs old . Trimmed back once .
Good luck with your grow I hope this helps
