• I’ve reached a pivotal point in my growing journey. My daughter has decided she wants to get her hands dirty. I’m happy and excited that she wants to learn how to grow. Growing up on the farm my dad taught me and it means something you can’t quantify passing on that knowledge. My question is how does a 50 year old band t shirt wearing guy communicate with an early 20’s girl? She does here nails and wears dresses and shit. I will say she did go see Slipknot, but I don’t know how I feel about that. I have plenty of bad grow habits that I don’t want her to pick up, mainly I suck at taking notes. I want to stress to her from the beginning to take notes, write it down. It will help you at some point. Because there’s going to be that “what the fuck did you do” moment. My old man was old school so he’d just slap me upside the head. She’s a girl. I can’t do that.

The honesty of not trying to sound and seem younger than I am gives them the ability to trust me. About dresses and nails, wear gloves and have a set of clothes for gardening. I’m excited you get to share this with your daughter
