Here’s the new lineup. Blumats arrive Wednesday. 5gal ACI pots. Hopefully these blumats come through on working out(something new).
Time to find a flower.
Hash and symtetra-
I ran blumats for a long time a while back. They are pretty easy to setup and maintain. Hmu if ya need some help or ideas.

@Hash going with gravity fed. Figured try it out because of my long days at work and not having to mess around for an hour before trying to get ready for work to prevent drying back too much but trying not to over water either. I’m going to use 1 with my current lady and the other 2 for my canna and Dots. Going for cutting down maintenance time. Time management. I liked this diagram and got me thinking how much time I do spend doing everything when that time could be spent on more IPM. I wanted to do a control dropper pulling from an an aerated reservoir but figured wait for now and just aerate what it’s Self siphoning.

The only thing that I can think would be an issue is the roots wrapping around them preventing them from working correctly hence why I thought about on top droppers

Cool, cool. I used to use 2 of the large carrots per #5 pot. The roots will grow up to the emitter, but it won’t be an issue. Just make sure you keep an eye on your rez and lines. Can get slimy over time if they aren’t cleaned…also closed loop, over single line system.

@Hash I’ve been watching some videos from build a soil and Sustainable Village. Then seeing the longer ones, the absorbing mats, emitter rings etc etc. I’m in the right place.
Yeah I’m fine with that. I’m just trying to find what works best for my lifestyle. What I was doing was occupying time on mixing nutrients but also dealing with not giving enough (while I’m at work) and drying back too much trying not to over water. I jumped in planting seeds not knowing everything else I was going to need to now found a simpler way to try 7 months later. I’ll try anything once(garden wise).1
