• So I watched Robert the Old School Growers video, “Beginner’s Guide to Understanding Fertilizers and Nutrients for Plants from the Old School Grower” on YouTube a few weeks ago and have to try his fertilizer routine…

15-5-15 Plant Marvel Cal-Mag Special for veg

10-30-20 Peters for Flower, adding the 15-5-15 to it, Mixed 80/20. He also says a sulphur foliag spray will rock out in coco and soiless media.

I had my buddy at the local farm supply store have these numbers mixed with NO wood fillers so the nitrogen will go to the plant and not go to work breaking down the cellulose in the filler. Starting a run of Premium Cultivars Blueberry this week and gonna use this routine.

The most sciency guy I can think of is @jmystro and I’d love to hear his input on this!

I’d go with a bit less nitrogen in flower and see how your plants react. No pre-mix has the absolute perfect ratios for your specific plant/s. You’d need to try multiple ratios over multiple runs before you really find the right ratios your specific plant can use to reach it’s absolute maximum potential. This is how actual science is done. There are sooooo many variables over the course of a plant’s life that A/B testing methods are often flawed. Careful with foliar sprays as they can do more harm than good. Nature doesn’t rain NPK. I’m going to create a Dropping Science with Mystro Group after the Cup to hopefully gives answers to questions no one seems to have… like what’s in certain products not listed on the label. Tell me its mode of action and I’ll tell you what’s most likely in it. There is no magic, only science.
