I got this idea for a shadow box. A box for taking choice nug shots. It envolves painting a background in vanta black to see if it would make the bud look like its surounded by an abyss of black. 99.4 % of light is absorbed so any holder for the stem would blend almost completely. Anyone ever try their hand at a diy professionalish photo box?

I’ve gotten some great shots off of an old tablet. Wanted to build a box out of them lol. Ill try to find some of the shots.

@Legofortres grab some 1/4″ foam core sheets, duct tape, 3M spray adhesive, and black velvet fabric from your local craft store. Assemble it like a trifold display for a school science project. Cover 2 extra sheets with velvet to use as the top and base (or cover a steel sheet for magnetic holders). Heavy duty flexible soldering arms with magnetic base and gator clamps work awesome for holding and positioning.
