I feel like I’m using the simplest method but never hear anyone talk about it here’s how I germinate I am a new grower but everyone I’ve done this way has been successful and it can’t get any easier.
First I take a room temp bottle of spring water I cut the bottle in half then drop the seed in put it in my grow tent with a dark cup covering it I have these aluminum cups I like to use and that is it after 2-3 days you have a nice taproot to put into your medium so far this method has not failed me. What do you guys think ?

I use a hybrid method. I soak for 24 hours then dump into a paper towel. The best of both worlds. ha.

I’ve never deviated from the paper towel method but now with recharge. Haven’t been happier.

I’ve done the paper towel method multiple times before, just have to make sure the tap root doesn’t try to grow into the paper towel…. Now I soak the seeds in a shot glass to distilled water and a few drops of 3% peroxide for 24-36 hours and then direct sow into final fabric pot and cover the area with the seed with clear solo cup for humidity for a few days until the plant gets about 2in tall and then remove the “humidity” domes.

lol i just drowned a bunch of seeds… Careful how long u soak for or how much water is in the ziplock on the paper towel. tap root came out but the water rotted the inside. My wifies cosmetic textured cotton pads have these dimples the seeds sit in and that’s gone really well. The cotton seems to hold moister without keeping the seed to moist….heheh i said moist…

Yeah, do to me being stupid and mixing the to up. I was soaking till popped then paper toweled them. Lost most in papertowels due to softening after popping. After I received my replacement seeds.
This time when they popped, I put them straight to coco. 💯 %

I pre soak in 5.8pH for about 12 hours in an amber medicine bottle with a drop of HGCC Germ Genie, on top of my 2×2 tent light that’s always on its lowest setting for clones. I made a little squiggle with TPU plant tie wire that keeps it from sitting directly on the transformer. The next morning I put a dry paper towel or coffee filter on the lid of a rectangular Chinese takeout food container, upside down like a little humidi-dome, and wet it with the water from the soak bottle and sprinkle the whole thing with just a thought of Recharge dust, cover, snap the lid into place and put it back on the light with the “trivet” underneath and I don’t even look at it until 48 hours later. Nice thick tap every time. Then I crush and sprinkle a couple of DynoMyco chips on it and plop ‘er in a cup of moist coco that is anxiously awaiting its new friend, with a sprinkle of Myco in its quivering hole, and spray it wet with FOOP spray. Next day…. Tah-Dah!!
Only failure I’ve had in the last year was a bag seed from some local outdoor mystery bud, and I think that was just The Maker looking out for me! 🤣

I pop them in a root riot plug, fill clear cup with coco, scoop of dots, little recharge and water… put in red cup and wait… they seem to always pop…. Unless it’s autos, I go root riot plug into the container I’m growing in.
