What’s the word on UVA? This HLG lite I bought came with the uva attachment light. Are the benefits real or are people getting a placebo effect? I know what the good Dr said. I’m just seeing so many positive reviews. That contradict him. 🤔

Most growers struggle to maintain the basics, like the environment. Adding UVA isn’t going to make any difference for most when the essential variables are not even dialed in.

@jmystro I get it. Yeah I’ll wait and see how just this light on its own does and try it later. Hate changing too many things at once it’s harder to troubleshoot.

@jmystro But for those of us for whom they are, what’s the story?
If there’s any benefit to the plant at all in UVA, I’m adding 1 for every 2 buckets. Now that I see AC Infinity has a CO2 valve that plugs into their controllers, I’m going to add that too (and additional nutrients, lights, etc).

@GuppyGirl Only quantifiable data shows an increase in some terpenes but doesn’t seem to stimulate any increase in trichomes.
