6 weeks agoAsk a Grow Question Starting a new grow with grow dots. 2nd grow Dp autoflowers from ilgm. Was planning a 50/50 ocean for/happy frog in 5 gal fabric pot mix with the grow dots. Will the soil and grow dots be to hot

Only one way to find out, i would think not though, alot of people say Ocean Forest is too hot , I’ve used it without a problem and the grow dots apparently won’t burn anything.

It will be too hot for a lot of plants. Some heavy feeders will thrive. This is where knowing the genetics matters.

I would just stick to straight happy frog with the grow dots honestly. Seems to me it’d be easier to add more N than to take some away. That’s really what were talking about here. And even if it doesn’t cook your plants and burn them it can still hinder growth.
