Interesting read but I am always skeptical of scientific advancement around natures processes.

I always like article like this, but they always make me question more than anything. My main question is, okay more flower sites, BUT does that mean more trichome production, or does that just take the overall ability of the plant and stretch what resources are available to create the trichomes. Nature tends to balance out, so if the plant has a gene for ‘so many’ flower sites, then it probably has a gene that regulates that amount of trichome production. If you mess with one, you probably break another.
