• Giving the coco, grow dots and recharge only setup a try with these mango smile sativa autos! (Only my 2nd grow so Ive got tons to learn still) The first gal is 4 weeks old, and I have another at 2 weeks. Growing in a 2×4 tent with climate/humidity control at a VPD range of 0.9-1.0 (for seedling/early veg stage) No topping and the LST seen in the pic is all I’m planning to do. Fingers crossed!

      • Looking good.

I wonder if she is going to keep growing horizontally “taller” like mine did. I’ve kept training a lot longer than people said I should because she kept growing into flower stage.

Now that the top cola seems like the top I’ve stopped. But lots of small side branches right near the main cola kept growing and I kept having to try to change the growth direction to not compete with other bud sites.

Each plant is unique and has its own needs. With autos they tell us. We can’t choose when its good for us all the time. Good for us might not be good for the plant or it may be extra stressors that help the plant out later on because you were its personal trainer.

I’m going to have to stake mine soon I think so the weight of it flowering does not break the main stem, I planted in the middle and not the side and I’ve got a lot of overhang on one side of the pot. However the plant is covering the entire pot area and more.

Seeing how they react to training is so interesting. I’m on my second plant as well and its the first time doing LST. I’m sure I did a lot of questionable things during training.

        • very nice training bro 💪
