I’m planning on ordering a few bug zappers for myself as IPM, As a bonus they have some UVA spectrum to them.
I sent back a tent kit, humidifier and heating pad from spider farmer recently. Please do not suggest their gear.
Anyone got any simple suggestions that may up my grow game without breaking the bank that I can get on Amazon.ca?

Well I caved and ordered the nice little 2x2x4 AC Infinity tent with 2 bug zappers.

@zoomycat Let me know what you think of it & how it would fare being used as a drying and/or a seedling/clone tent. I’m thinking about snagging one if I can be convinced it’s going to be worth it(and if the wife allows, of course lol).

@undefined Will do. Its supposed to show up at my Moms on the 24th but I’m going to wait until Christmas just because I know having stuff there makes my Mom happy.

I know you won’t like it buuuuut I started with 2 spider farmer sf1000D’s. They did very well except no dimmer. 2 pack for $140 only because I didn’t get the evo 3 for my 2×4 and it was a cheap option. I have 4 that ran seed to harvest last run in a 8×5 room I converted ACI humidifier $50 and ACI exhaust with carbon $160 and a $60 Amazon tent. Don’t skimp on your tent. Get a name brand. I’ll obviously suggest ACI …. EVERYTHING 👌🤙

@surfdad_grows I plan on possibly getting some more gear once the fallout is done from the spider farmer 2×4 kit, humidifier and heating mat. I had such a bad experience with them that I will never buy another piece of Spider Farmer gear nor do I want anything of theirs in my grow at all. If they offered me free stuff I would likely decline, that is how much I dislike them.

@zoomycat The beginning was just messing with you. I wasn’t a fan of them but they worked and for a 2pck, I just wasn’t going to get vivosun, even though i ALMOST got their nice bar style. If ACi did a 2pck of their S22 that would have been great. But now everything I have is all AC Infinity except for my light. Which will eventually get switched also. I’m a lifer for ACI. I can’t say enough good things. The heating pad is so so in my opinion. Doesn’t get quite warm enough. That’s the only thing I have anything negative to say about ACI.

@surfdad_grows Cool Cool. I mean I’m not going to bash anyone for using any gear that works for them in their grow. All our usages are unique. I tried to get some ACI clip fans too but it wanted an upfront cost right now and that means the other gear has to finish being refunded before I can grab anything else, I’ll have to figure out a cheap solution then pick it up later.
