Goodnhigh posted an update
Hello,
First time indoor grow. I haven’t been able to get my flowering autos below 50% humidity while raining outside. I’m looking at the spider dehumidifier and the new controller with powerstip, as the $40 amazon humidifier stopped working. I’m growing in a fiberglass container, well insulated and vented. I control the lung room at 80 degrees and the girls at a high of 85, low 75. I haven’t used the ac sense a heatwave. Outside temps usually around 70.
7 girls in a 5’ by 6’ ten feet high, lung room, 5 by 4. The rest of the container is 10 by 12.
After this run, I to start 2 plants per month. In the spring I’m planning on buying some genetics. I’m having a hard time with finding a good seed supplier. I recently bought some NCDiesel seeds that didn’t pop.
Thanks for any advice. Cheers, whitewidow in the pipe today.

what kind of seeds are you looking for and what is your budget?

Low yield, high quality. I like the traits of white widow and sweet tastes. Medical wise, Sativa is my go to. I’m also very interested in Afghan and Tie. Thank you

I’d like to start with info that the VPD is a correlation and not a hard and fast rule. My Veg & Flower area stays around 19-22C.
Its open and not insulated and the plants just control their own Humidity, Its around 35 in there right now.
So maybe taking a look at your humidity if you’re having issues controlling that variable and adjust what you seem to be able to control. Speaking of which dropping my grow back down to 19C puts it at a better VPD for my Vegging seedlings *and* my Flowering plant together.

@zoomycat thanks, I’ll look in to that direction.

@russjones48gmail-com Don’t go too much lower than 19C or around 66.2F as that will start to slow growth more than you want. But if you can run cooler like this you prevent volatizing your terpenes off while you’re growing 😉

@ZoomyCat Good stuff, thanks
