Not having a good experience with Royal Queens quick one auto flower this is the 3rd one it gets to this point and then starts to die my other seedlings have no issues this is the only one im thinking bad genetics
Anyone else experience this with RQS
Sasquatch, arnogardens and 3 others-
They gave me a little trouble getting them germ, how ever they seem to be going ok now. Whats your enviroment , soil, temp & humi, ect……?
-
@jonybbudn happy frog with grow dots temp 70ish humidity 65% water ph 6.0
-
Bro sounds like you got everything dialed in, and you said you haven’t had a problem with others so that makes me think the water supply isn’t a issue, have you tested your water other then ph, say ec/ppm ? Also what type of pot may it not be draining properly. I’ve ran into several problems that simply came from the pot I was using not allowing draining or good air flow.
-
@jonybbudn water ppm is 102 I keep a 5 gallon bucket of water with large air stones in the bottom I ph the water and that is what I use all week. The pots are two gallon fabric grow bags, I’m really thinking I just got some bad genetics I have a Carmel cream gelato from Humboldt seed co with the exact same conditions and she’s doing great
-
@potgoblin420 you definitely got got everything else cover .

Yeah I just don’t get it I have two more of those seeds not even sure if I want to waste my time with them

Is your mix hot???autos are super sensitive to hot organic mixes…
-
@vanilla_growilla_83 happy frog normally isn’t hot but I suppose it could be a bit hot I forgot to mention I put a solo cup in the pot while filling it then removed it and filled the rest with coast of Maine seed starter this has been working well for me

Why do they look like you’ve watered from the outside in instead of from the plant out? Looks to be dry on that soil there. When was it watered and how much?
-
@ZoomyCat I never water directly on seedlings I always water around the outside to encourage the roots to grow and search for water I have done this with every plant I have grown with no problems
-
@potgoblin420 Alright. I’ve always seen/done the opposite with mine and slowly water outward from the inside of the pot to make sure the roots continue to have moisture when they proceed outward with growth slowly watering outward in a circle until I’m watering the whole medium area. At which point she probably gets a severe over water via a full saturation bottom watering then allowing full drainage to happen.

Welp she didn’t make it she was slumped over this morning when I pulled her out she surprisingly had a good amount of roots that seemed to look healthy, again I’m really thinking poor genetics I just started to germinate a sweet skunk auto to replace her
