5 days agoGrow Talk Just heard from Pigeons 420 video that Samsung is getting out of the LED lighting market. They will cease to make them in 2030 So far no one stepping up to to take over.

It’s a huge market. Not sure why they would want to exit. I’m sure someone will step up.

Believe they are going to be concentrating more on kitchen stuff and getting away from electronics, tvs etc. i just bought a new light with the evo diodes and it is sweet.

RDJ Bouns uses Sanan 3030 drivers they claim to be better than Samsung I have no complaints nor do I know how true their claim is but I’m very happy with my RDJ Bouns Astronaut in my 2×4

@potgoblin420 absolutely love my 720. Cool thing is they will fix or replace whatever within days. A guy had a broke plug on his one of the light bars clearly it was operator error because you could see he jammed the pins in and broke them off. But idk that’s not my problem lol.

@potgoblin420 ohhhh I know. That sold me lol. And the price. I literally didn’t see much about the light when I first found it, but there is some people having some awesome success.

I’m probably one of the only ones that is happy about that with Samsung currently controlling the market. Everything just is marketing BS and we need competition in the LED market rather than Samsung being monopoly.
Rather than poor quality lights hitting the market being said they are good because they are a “Samsung partner”.
When they end up making a poor quality product out of the samsung LED’s.
