2 weeks agoAsk a Grow Question Hey growmies I’ve got this auto that had some bad root rot in veg and am wondering if it will even make to harvest. Trichomes production seems to be very slow. Even if the leaves are this dead will trichomes still mature to cloudy/ amber? Or should I take what I can get now and chop?

@kapsndkolas unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work too well for dwc. Atleast not for me but I do have some! Love the lightning too

I’ll be honest some strains don’t produce alot of trichomes no matter how you feed it.

@thedottiegman I try to always mark the day it broke ground to have a good idea as to how many weeks it has grown . Sometimes you just have to wait for the fade and hope for the best . Just remember how that particular strain grew that way you are ready when you pop it again.

We just went through a very similar situation and I can tell you not all strains show a lot of trichomes. If it were me I would check my calendar for age to see if you were where you should be or close enough and then I would chop and do a proper dry and cure.
