Has anyone ever tried using peppermint scents around the inside of their grow tent for pest control?

I have laid my homegrown mint on top the soil as a mulch. Seemed to help at least for a month till they got used to it. Also use Asian lady beetles that naturally find themselves into my grow in the fall for natural pest control since they feed on aphids and other small living things that are bad for your plant.

@cannasota Watch out there are bugs that look like ladybugs but chill below the leaves and eat the essence of the plant.

I use tea tree and peppermint castile soap in a DIY foliar contact spray. Smells great while killing.
