Has anyone here tried Rasta Jeffs 18/6 at the end followed by two days of darkness.?
Jeff was pointing out bout new growth and it made me think. During the 36-48 hours of darkness would the plant be stressed into producing flavinoids and terps that would be fresh and not have had a chance to dissapate or burn off under the light?
I have used the darkness method right before harvest and it seems like some strains look more frosty after a day or so of darkness. I use the 18/6 for the last 10 -14 days to ripen the flowers and make the trichromes turn amber . But i have never tried both 18/6 followed by the 36-48 hours darkness. Ill give you guys a report soon as Im about to harvest.

I can’t see the logic behind that darkness period thing. But I had great results with the 18/6 for the last 7 to 10 days. So I’m curious to see what you think after your harvest

@BePennjier Im thinking it would stress and create new terps and flaviniods which wouldnt have had an opportunity to dissapate off or burn off under lights..

@tjrez and in my tiny little mind that doesn’t make a lot of sense. but I have to admit that we simply don’t have enough good data (as far as I know and I’m not an expert on that topic). That’s why I’m curious about your findings and highly appreciate that you are willing to share your results, once you have any 👍
