I’m sure anyone that has gotten to know me a bit knows… There are 3 important C’s in my life. Cannabis, Coffee and my Cat.

I’ve not really showed the coffee side yet but today it came out in my posts. I usually just make myself a lazy 8 cup French Press style coffee and whip up the Silk Almond Milk for Coffee with my milk frother.

But today I am running out of beans and need to go pick some up. I did not have enough beans for an 8 cup brew but I *did* have enough beans for a 3 Cup Mokapot Express brew.

I can see this post is already getting pretty drawn out but the last 2 years I’ve had multiple Coffee machines break on me and became… I don’t like them, they break and are poor quality… Stovetop units seemed to be the way to go…

Anyways the point is… If I ever ask you if you want me to make you a Coffee. Unless you got some health issue like an ulcer or something. You might want to say Yes because its probably going to be one of the best coffee experiences you’ve had. I put a lot of thought into my brew and the techniques involved.

The water gets pre-heated to exactly 90 degrees Celsius and the temperature continues to be pressurized into steam at the same slow brew temperature. I froth the milk so it is full of air bubbles before I pour the brew in. I then continue to froth the coffee and milk together so the milk grabs the essence of the coffee flavor in it. This also helps to knock out any perceived bitterness that the brew may have gained so you get a nice smooth taste of the coffee.

I was really enjoying this blueberry flavored coffee but the beans tend to have the oils on them go rancid very quickly so I stopped buying them. Sweet coffee going sour is a horrible thing, then you only taste the soured oils from the coffee.

Well anyone that got this far? Are you a coffee enthusiast too? What made you become one? Does it also take you a long time to make coffee because its an entire experience? Where the wonderful brew is a result of your accurate work in crafting such curated cup?
