Living in southwest Virginia, if you don’t grow your own this is what you are paying at the dispo.. crazy af I feel like. I cannot an will not pay that for a g of concentrate. Hope everyone has a kick ass weekend!! 👊✌️

man that sucks! there’s a couple brands here that are outstanding but rather expensive – about $65/.5g The worst part is that a good chunk of that $65 is going to “investors” instead of the people that grow and make the rosin. Thankfully, homie rosin is way better imo and usually around $30/g.

I’m curious to see if that changes to rosin like it did here over time. I’m noticing patterns as states end prohibition – I find it fascinating.

@bnr another thing is yes it’s legal and yes you can possess it, but there really isn’t any where you can purchase it legally. There is one company on my side of the state im about 50 miles SW of Roanoke, it’s a RISE (GTI). Their prices are absolutely ridiculous, selection is very low, quality is usually hit or miss. There’s a brand or two you can count on but you are going to pay for it. That is why the second it went legal in VA, a couple of us bought the bare minimum needed to start. As far as dispos go on the western side of Virginia from Roanoke to the very western corner their are 3 “legally” operating business to purchase cannibis. I know that these things take time, but it seems like the date we were supposed to go recreational keeps getting pushed back, this damn Governor we have absolutely will not sign a cannabis bill.. It’s a frustrating place to live really, a couple people i know feel like they’re baiting us and at anytime they could start coming after our homegrows. Geez, I’m sorry, I’m pretty baked this morning kind of got on a rant.. (edited for spelling)

Man, I really hope so, soon. I’ve lived here for 36 years and even tho state law has changed and most of us have our cards now to protect our jobs. But there is no normalizing here I try hard but the area I’m from has such a backwards, very old way of thinking. I wear a t shirt I bought from Dale and bro I’m telling you people stare like I have leprosy. It’s beautiful, but pretty backwards in certain areas.

@ohiofarms I feel like you’ve come here to rub salt in my wounds 🤣😂 just kidding bro! We hope to leave here soon. Don’t get me wrong it’s gorgeous but we’ve been here our whole lives and in the southwest part of the state there isn’t much of a cannabis scene.
