Inoculated my substrate with the Enoki mushrooms today. 2x bags 1450g each added about 50g of seed spawn
Substrate: 1kg oak sawdust(aged wood and left to start decomposing for 2 weeks) 250g wheat bran and 1.5L water.
I’m getting some masters mix tomorrow. It’s similar to my homemade recipe. I have one more 50g jar of enoki. I’m going to do one bag in the Masters mix and compare the results.

Space is a premium here by NYC. This studio alone is 2k a month. Thankfully, I’m a minimalist so I don’t have too much garbage in here. I was even considering building a small one, but again, space.

That’s just some…blue oysters 😜 I’ve found most species of mushrooms start out well on bird seed as spawn even the outdoor wood lovers.
