So I haven’t cut the fan leaves of the top cut clone i took or any for that matter ever.
Cutting the first 1/3rd of the fan leaves tips off, does that just remove energy being put to those leaves so it can focus more on establishing and building roots along with the top even though those leaves are beneficial at it’s current…

I’d love to reply but I’m still baked from last night. Think a handful was a little to much.

Less nutrient requirement to keep plant green while roots can be established and space.

Lower surface area = less transpiration… Allegedly.

My understanding is that it signals the plant that should seek water from the stem or new roots rather than the leaves. I’ve done it both ways and it seems to work when I do it with my regimen.
