Clone taken from mother 4 weeks ago, showing pre-flowers I think. How long can I keep it in veg?

As long as you want. The mothers show their sex and the clones are of its mother. So they will too.

As long as it’s not a auto flower you can keep in in veg as long as you want just don’t change to 12/12 I tried cloning a auto and it only grow roots then started flowing at the same size as the cutting started
