I would like to grow an auto flower outdoors in a 20+ gal pot. What medium do you suggest?

here is my indoor in coco with canna nutes.

Outdoors I’d recommend a high quality organic soil. Indoor I prefer ProMix, but outdoors I love organic. Personally have had great success with Coast of Maine soils. Then as far as Grow Dots go, I stick to the 75g per plant formula and top dress in a circular pattern around the main stem. Good luck!

You can use the regular formula of Grow Dots outdoors as the auto will not have an extended veg. If you were growing photoperiod plants then I’d suggest the extended formula. With an autoflower, any pot over 10 gallons is super overkill. They only have a month of veg.

You can use CoCo Coir outside with grow dots. I did it a couple of summers ago. Last year I used ProMix outside with grow dots in 15 gals and it was easy peasy. Make sure to have a IPM program and stick to it. I had a nasty thrip problems last year. Damn bugs anyways.
