I sometimes use DE on the topsoil to ward off pests, but I never have applied it directly to the leaves or stem. It also adds silica so it’s beneficial when used correctly.

Yes I’ve used it there too but the shit won’t wash off I really have to hand wash every leaf by hand it sucks I will not do that again anyway my question is can I just leave it on I’m mean it’s not harmful to animals and humans it’s not like I did it after it flowered

It’s not going to harm you, I even drink a tablespoon of DE in some water if I have a stomach issue. I just usually use neem oil on the greenery, but never on the buds.

I used de on my outdoor plants this year on August 11th right before flower because of the terrible amount of aphids I had on one plant that turned out to be a male anyway. Long story short it rained and rained rained here a ton and washed it all off but if it didn’t, my plan was to wash them August 13 with a garden hose and soaker nozzle. Worked great, still no aphids back, no de left on the plants, and flowering is well underway.
