    Hi there Dudes and Duderinas.

With your great Tipps i was able to directly grow my first GMO Auto with four big nice Heads on my first grow.

    Thanks for that 😉

Today i wanted to take a closer look and maybe start to harvest.

But i found this white fluffly dots and structures in the buds.
But not on the outside rather a bit hidden between and in the bud structures.

Ihad to pull it a bit appart, and when i tapp this dots they release a dusty white cloud, so i guess it hardly can be trycomes on a living plant…. or? o.O

After some more research i would have guessed on Mildew.
The thing is that i cannot find any other mildew or this white mold on the rest of the plant.
Leaves are clean, stems are clean. earth surface the same.

Also the plant was indoor all the time, and dosnt smell rotten at all.

So… before i start cutting my plant down, and cry myself to sleep tonight…

i would like to hear your oppinion on that please. :]

You can still harvest and smoke the buds on the rest of your plant that doesn’t have any signs of mold!

    D:
ok… thank you both for the quick awnser 🙂

so then i guess its just the bud itself that rots? and it cant spread to my other plant like mildew or mold… wait its still some kind of a fungi and it spread already… as i described with the cloudy stuff…. right? fu.. xD

so what would you suggest? harvest it all asap and try my luck or … the trash can?

and for the future, i guess its a moisture problem then? i had the fan on, but only every second day or so…

It’s a cancer same as powdery mold only different. It definitely can and will spread if you don’t cut it out and take counter measures

Damn a hard lesson learned… This mold specifically enjoys the most stagnant environment that buds perfectly produce. Definitely have a look through the flowers and cut out and discard any you find. If you have any to save you’ll probably want to wet trim and keep a close eye on the dry environment. Air circulation is the one main key to prevent this. I run 5 fans that constantly change speeds 24 hours a day during growing in my 4×4 tent.

thank you all, based on you help i did a quick harvest and inspected every bud in close.

at least i could safe half of the harvet.
    😙

is there something i could do with the affected ones? some guys told me he drowns the affected buds in a solution with water and hydrocloricaccid to kill the mold, before drying them… 😏

sounds a bit like bro science to me, or is it a legit thing to do? 🧐

Throw away anything with mold on it. Do not try to save it. If you don’t successfully kill the mold and you smoke some of it by accident because accidents happen and let’s say it came back after your solution dunk, well the mold would start growing in your lungs. Very bad potentially deadly. Usually bud that’s affected is basically necrotic. Like all the tissue has been ate

Dont smoke anything that has been infected by mold !! Make sure that anything you harvest is free and clear of any disease.

what about making a tincture out of it where you dissolve the heads into solution?

I did throw out anything with vissible mold on it, and only keep the clean looking parts that where not directly touching the infected ones.

On these, now dried and jarred buds, is nothing to see by now.

I guess if they where infected in a big scale, then the mold would be vissible by now, or not?
