So are we saying that if the pots not that smelly and I run charcoal filter in my tents and a super large can charcoal filter as a room scrubber, that maybe she wouldn’t make me ghost my grow in weeks 4 to 6?

🤣🤣🤣. When you gotta go you gotta go and an empty bucket works. That bat/sea bird guano fertilizer. Like I grabbed some cow pie from the field out back to fertilize indoor.

In my 2×4 I have a 4″ fan with a filter. It totally eliminates the smell. After 6 weeks or so I start smelling it, clean the filter and I’m good for another 6 weeks. That one is in my bedroom, my wife usually tells me when it’s time. 😂. Basically the same thing for my 10×10 except there are 2 4″ with filters. I would prefer 6″ in that one to pull more heat out but the smaller ones do control the smell.

Cleaning filter? Basically dumping it out and refilling it? Ease or hard job? I got a hugh filter.

So 4″ filters good for 6 huh. Nice thanks mate. This is exactly what I was looking for. That’s to your Mrs too. Got 3 filters, small and large 4″ers and the big Mac almost 4′ high 16″ diameter. Times like 150 lbs lol that going to be a pain to change charcoal. You saved me bro.

      Thank much mate 🤙

I take mine to the tub and spray them with water, inside and out. The internet says not to do this but it works for me. I’ve washed the one in my 2×4 4-5 times so far. Mostly because of my humidifier and hard water. The little holes in the filter get clogged with very fine powder, calcium I think. An air compressor or canned air might be enough to blow it out but I live in town and don’t want the neighbors seeing… After I spray (and toothbrush sometimes) I shake out as much water as possible, lay it on it’s side on a towel in front of a fan and wait an hour(occasionally moving to a dry spot). Then I hook it to the fan on the outside and let it blow hot air through it for 5-10 minutes to finish drying before putting it back in the tent…. They do sell charcoal refills too. Idk if all of the filters can be opened up though.

That’s all I’ve used. I was being cheap not wanting to buy another filter the first time. I have no idea how many times I’ll be able to do this but it’s working for now. Google says there’s a chance of releasing toxins and such that were stored in the carbon. When you blow the hot air through there is a smell. Maybe that’s what it is maybe not. Either way I put a fan in the window to suck it out. After a few minutes it’s gone. When the charcoal is dry I’m guessing…. Most of the places saying don’t clean them are the same places trying to sell me a new one. I’ll probably keep doing this until it stops working.

Yeah, that’s great it works. I’m just going to replace charcoal. That 150 lb filter will be impossible for me to move when wet

I run a 6inch carbon filter in my 2×4. Eliminates most of the smell; Until that tent is opened. Thenh the danknest comes pouring out. I only open my tent very early in the morning and burn an incense cone LOL. In the seedling stage the filter is not necessary. In fact I have a dampner and y pipe to bypass the filter. The high humidity required for young plants can damage or reduce the lifespan of you carbon filter. When my carbon filter is employed I don’t let my humidity go above 60%, 50% is preferable. I have used my 6″ AC Infinity filkter with replaceanle charchol for 4 runs and it still works great. I haven’t replaced the charchol yet.
