Roots

Has anyone else seen this? My roots are growing out the side of the rockwool. I’m thinking about switching to aeroponics cloner. Rockwool and rapid rooter plugs are odd to me

Once it grows a bit more roots will be growing everywhere out of the Rockwool cube!

I don’t like restricting seedling roots. I’d transplant it soon. Roots are supposed to grow out of the starter media. Clones are different and need a humidity dome unlike seedlings. After you see the few initial roots popping out, you have a few days to acclimate clones out of a humidity dome while the roots continue to develop enough to transplant.

Nah your Rockwool is doing just as it should. The plant will root the whole cube. Lots of folks take the cubes and just toss em in soil or whatever media they’re growing in and just let em rock. Being a sterile media they’re great for clones!
