Accidental reveg

Hey everybody, I’m hoping some of you can help steer me in the right direction here. Had an issue with a WiFi timer and my lights stayed on for 2 days straight. Plants went back into reveg in the 4th week of flower by accident. I got them back into a flower after a month and now they’re back into their 3rd week of “re” flower. I trimmed a lot of the new growth off for about a week into the accidental reveg and then I stopped. Now, I have buds that have different stages of flowering. What do I need to do at this point? Any help is greatly appreciated!

bummer deal, id say just run it out until you reach the maturity of the first set and then decide. At that point id say you have three choices: Cut the finished stuff off and let the underdeveloped buds mature, cut the whole things and have weed with underdeveloped buds mixed in, or run it out so you have mature buds mixed in with ‘over ripe’ buds mixed in.

  • just harvest at different times , keep an eye on the tri combs and harvest accordingly , they will turn out great , patience

  • i was thinking the same thing. I just need to harvest at different times. I just don’t quite understand what happens chemically to the plant/trichomes. Does the plant absorb trichomes for energy during reveg? Or do the buds just chill where they are? Obviously the initial amount won’t be there due to them being volatile, however, do they absorb them for its new growth? Again, thank you so much for the feedback everybody. I’ve been looking for a group to bounce ideas off of and this seems to be the place!

    • Noone actually answerd your question about the buds. Trichomes are not like nitrogen, they are there to stay. The green is sucked out of the leaf but the leaf’s don’t get cannibalized. Think of it like that if that makes sense. Not exactly but in laymen’s terms, the bud will get the green sucked out but the leaf’s and flowers will not get smaller.

  • This should have been cleaned up after the reveg happen. Old leaves, old buds, anything left to shivel and die except a few healthy leaves. Even being unintended, once the reveg was noticed and healthy leaves came out it should have been maintained like a normal veg plant. Can always bonsai it and start low and fresh. Those old buds i can see causing powdery mildew or rot issues if new grow happens all around it.
