Air exchange 10×10

I just bought a cheap 10×10 and a 8″ outtake with a 6″ intake, not sure if these will exchange the airflow quickly enough.

Should I get a 10″ for the outtake and use the 8″ for intake with both at half power?

That makes sense for sure. I’m always wishing I had more flower space. Ha. Make what makes you feel right. Enjoy.

I love my 10×10, so much space to work in. The extra head space allows you to put tables in to get your plants up and easier to access, which my back appreciates. It’s not set up right now because all of the equipment is in the new grow room but as soon as I get more it’ll go back up. I had 2x 4″ blowing out the top and vented out a window, 1 over each light. With half of the bottom vents open I maintained good negative pressure. Lung room temp was a constant 74°f and the tent stayed around 85°f during lights on. I don’t have a CO2 meter but everything grew fine in there. With both an intake and outtake you’ll have to dial down the 8″ to achieve a neutral pressure.

I’m still wanting to have a little negative pressure and was thinking the smaller intake would create that with the both of them at the same speed? .

The space in it is for same as you said, I got a small picnic table and chair waiting to go in it , that and a ashtray haha and probably one of them waterproof speakers you get for the shower so I can kick back man .

Me being in there a couple hours a day be plenty of co2, hey man see if it helps my breathing ill put a single bed in it haha

Lol. My wife has threatened to put a bed in there for me several times. I’m like “oh no, anything but that”. 🤣 .. One problem I did have was keeping the humidity up thru fall and winter. I had 2 small 2gal humidifiers going 24/7 in there and could only hit 45-50%. With that much air moving in and out it was impossible to get any higher without raising the humidity of the whole house first. Just something to consider, especially if you’re in an arid region…

I should be cool man , the humidity in here is sky high . Planning getting by with the gear I’ve got justnow but a humidifier is on my shopping list .

I want one them aci+ and all the bells n whistles to go with it , think it’s the T7 the larger humidifier but was told I’d need two , heaters aswel man , guy on AC infinity customer service was telling me they only humidify up to a 5×5, same with the heater , too expensive for me justnow but if I eat koka noodles for the next 12 months I could budget maybe one bit at a time
