Got my second grow going (first auto flower(s) run) and started noticing a calcium deficiency on my taller pheno of special queen #1, calcium is 2 day shipping for me from Amazon. Anyone have a idea of what I can use to supplement calcium in next watering until I can get the calcium in. Currently using 4 tbsp 444 Gaia 5 tbsp 268 Gaia, worm castings, microbial tea that includes yucca & kelp extract, probably 3 washed and crushed egg shells per pot, drops of balance macro nutrients and I use lemon or lime juice to pH my waterings. Pot size is 5 gal

That plant doesn’t have a calcium issue.

What makes you think it’s calcium? Can you post a close up of the affected leaves?

Necrosis starting bottom of plant. The Coco is stripping it. I bought what I thought was premium pre buffed but apparently not buffed.

I’m not seeing it. Post pics of what exactly makes you think there could be a calcium deficiency. I wouldn’t add any more calcium because if it is showing signs of being deficient then it’s not because there’s not enough in the soil already.

Only thing I didn’t add in nutrient wise that I can see. Other comment I posted a closer pic. From what I’ve seen online obvious sign of necrosis in beginning stages. Trying to catch it early

That still doesn’t mean it’s deficient in calcium. The 4-4-4 & 2-8-4, yucca and kelp all contain plenty of calcium. Signs of a deficiency don’t always mean there’s actually a deficiency, just that for some reason it’s unavailable for the plant to use. Which can be from lock out due to levels of something else being too high or pH not being correct. An excess of Phosphorus can make any calcium in the soil unavailable for the plant to use.

Too much calcium leads to lockout of magnesium, potassium, iron and manganese. If you add more then you could very well end up with even more problems. Which is why you should be 100% sure the calcium has been depleted and not just unavailable.

It may be overloaded with Phosphorus. Just like with calcium, the Gaia, worm castings, yucca and kelp extract are all considered pretty good sources of phosphorus. Is it flowering? Might should have waited on the 2-8-4. At the same time, all that stuff needs time to break down to a form where the plant is able to use it. So it may be not be getting the right nutrients at the right times.
