I only have about 7-8 grows on my belt, but I haven’t seen this before. I was looking at my flower tonight and there looks to be a bud growing on top of one of my fan leafs. Has anyone seen this before and know what it is?

With the resin gland on that fan leaf it almost looks like a sugar leaf that grew out and took a bit of bud with it. But it also looks like its growing right at the joint where the stem connects to the leaf so it could have just been short and with how most strains are inbred and back crossed to itself and everything it could just be a pheno mutation. Its nothing to worry about

It’s known as foliar buds. Foliar buds are a fairly common mutation.

One of those showed up on a Blue Cheese Moon leaf here recently. It is a logical mutation, that spot has it all, like a node.

I have one clone-only, CleM5, that regularly sprouts calyx on a petiole.
