Do they come through blurry for you too, in the app? No matter how clear the photo is when I upload it, seems to always blur the image.

Amber trichomes are degraded trichomes high in CBN. CBN just puts you to sleep. If you want THC and get high, harvest when milky white, before THC breaks down to CBN.

Kind of tough to tell from the photo (need to zoom in about 10x more) but those look cloudy to me.

If you can’t get a photo that zoomed in, you should be able to use a 15x loupe (cheap on Amazon) to get a really close-in visual. If the heads are “glassy” you still have some time. If they’re predominantly milky/white, then you’re in that “harvest window”.

Once ripe, trichomes will eventually over-ripen turning shades of amber/brown. That’s THC degrading into CBN, which won’t get you high, but will be very sedative. It’s a preference at that point, but most people harvest around 10-20% amber. No hard and fast rule though, you can harvest all white or at 50% amber if you want, just depends on your goal for the effects.

Try using a lupe on your phone camera for a close look does take some practice 😆

I would say there is still quite a bit of clear tricomes still. The method i use is i wait until there is about 5% – 10% amber tricomes because the first ones to grow will mature before the bulk so i wait until i can start to see a bit of amber and then check with a jewelers loop day by day

2nd set of pics look like you still have some clear going on to me. I 2nd picking up a usb scope from Amazon. They are super handy. For checking trichs and looking for mold, mildew, pests, etc.
