I’m sure some can be more finicky than others, that’s just nature. But MY problems that I’ve had with clones WAS OVER WATERING. That was my number one cause of problems. Once I figured that out I’ve had better success. I’ve had clones doing good and then I transplanted them and gave them too much water and they stop growing until they dry out some.

Sorry to say but this is 100% user error. Rooted clones need to be slowly acclimated to a lower humidity or they will instantly wilt from shock. Once they’re rooted, it may take 2-3 days to acclimate them from 80% down to 65% RH. They want 90-100% RH the first 3 days after being cut, then they’ll harden off and can be lowered to about 85% RH. After 5-7 days you should be able to lower RH to about 70-75%. Once you see roots after 7-14 days, allow the RH to lower down to 70-65% for a day or two, then transplant into a room with 80-82F with 65%RH. A rooted clone in a dome with 80% RH will wilt within 5 minutes if put in a room with 50% RH without acclimation. Keep a fan off them for the first 3 days after transplant as well. Wind will compound the shock.
