Got this pack of seeds that were supposed to be GDP. Not sure if that is what I got. These are week 7. My Acapulco Gold (from herm seed) is at week 7 and looks about a week ahead of GDP. Has anyone grown GDP that can tell me if this might be the correct strain. Wasn’t expecting a thin leaf that would take 10 weeks plus. (Believe these need about 3 more weeks.) Last Pic is Gold for comparison.

Seeds are not clones. Kids don’t look identical to their parents. You never know what will come from a seed, but if you pop enough you will hopefully find something that resembles the parent stock or at least carries some of the sought after traits.

Yeah, I checked out a bunch of pictures online. There are some varieties with thin leaves. Was hoping this was my couch lock strain for sleep. I guess I will know in 8 weeks or so when the smoke report comes in… Thanks for the reply!

Id say, if you want it couch lock… just make sure you have plenty of amber trichomes before you harvest. If you think it is ready, give it another week or so. When the THC in the trichome heads, break down, they convert to CBN. CBN gives you that couch lock that you seek.

My gdp clone started from seed. It’s like a wine berry terp. Nice for evening its strong but not sleepy just helps unwind and relax.
