    Hello fellow Growers,

Outdoor season is approaching and i’m about to prepare for it.

I will put out some ladies to a farmer and i want to use the extended Growdots to feed them.

The farmer provides me with a field of good fertile soil mixed with his own bio humus.

Last year i grew my own landstrain and only added some guano for flowering.

They turned out well, despite it being a very rainy summer and fall.

Has anyone some experience with using Grow Dots for outdoors?

My main concern is that if i apply the recommended ammount to each plant, i may be overfeeding them. Any input is appreciated.

Grow Dots work great outdoors or indoors.

I would mix Grow Dots in a pot you want to grow each plant in. Extended veg gives you about 5-6 months of feeding. You can grow each plant in a fairly large pot. 25 grams per gallon of soil is a safe dosage.

They won’t go into a pot, they will be out on a field, on a crumb mixed with humus.

I’m aware of the dosages for each plant, i would like to know if anyone has any exoerience mixing Grow Dots into the soil without any pot.

Thanks for your input J !

In that case I’d pick out each spot/space a plant and it’s roots will grow, dig it out a bit (maybe into 5 gallon buckets to measure then into a wheel barrel) and calculate how much soil you want each plant to grow in. Mix Grow Dots in that soil and refill the hole. Water then transplant. The Grow Dots don’t need to perfectly mixed throughout to feed the plant but it would make the plant happier if nutrition was spread throughout it’s entire root system. Doesn’t need to be mixed deep as water will carry nutrients down. As long as the Dots are in the top half of the soil the plant will be happy.

Ah ok that’s about the same method i used with Chicken Poop pellets.
