Am I going overboard.
User coco loco with cal/mg added to water and recharge.
I’m remanding my coco with local casting and rice hulls.
I just can’t wrap my head around you only need the dots and calmag dye to it being coco.

Wait calmag with dots in coco? That’s probably why my girl is looking a little sad. I did the same thing, but haven’t been using any calmag.

Grow Dots are complete mineral nutrition for soil, soilless, coco, etc. Never supplement cal-mag unless a specific plant is actively showing a deficiency. Excess calcium will limit the availability of other elements that will ultimately decrease yield and quality.

Unknown MemberMemberAre you adding the cal mag to buffer your water?? I grew with grow dots abd coco only and rainwater found i had to add a little to my water to buffer to keep my ph in the right zone..

Ive never needed to add cal mag to dots. They have it in there, unless you notice deficiency I would say no cal mag. I do use a very lite dose of silica once a week and recharge.

I’m using Canna Coco, Grow Dots and Recgarge and castings. Pumice for aeration. No Cal Mag or anything but water. Great results. Recent pics on my page.

I was outside in the ground and still used growdots. I used extended and recharge. I did have to add some bloom booster at the end because the plants got so big and started to show some deficiencies about a month from harvest. I dropped these in the ground in beginning of June and they ran beautifully until about mid September. My inside grow this winter will be coco, perlite, castings and dots on an autopot system.
