Just started week 4 of veg, lights came on 6:45 and got to the office and power just went out at ~9:40. If I can escape I can run my truck as a generator to power everything – but my question is what should I be looking for after? How long can the girls handle this hiccup? And anything else I should be concerned for.

If it was me I wouldn’t have sweated it. Young plants are like kids. Super resilient! Don’t believe me? Throw one down the stairs. Your kid not the plant! It would probably be fine too, just don’t make that mistake cause of a miscommunication. I would feel just awful….

My Suggestion if your in flower is pull the lights and timer out. Hopefully the power is restored by the time lights go on plug lights back in and reset the timer if necessary.

If your in veg you can do nothing if you want but be sure to reset timer at lights on if necessary.

PRO TIP: open your tent in the event of a power outage because your exhaust and fans are also not running.

call the power and see if they can give you an estimated power on time for starters,, then open the tents and some windowblinds an let the sun shine in

I have an estimate 10:40 pm but they’re under promise over deliver here on the estimates and it looks like small outage or emergency work. There is less 1k people out with over 2 million customers

Thanks @paddy-o-toker i’m in veg fourth week. Appreciate the advice – I should be able to get home in a few hours to setup the generator.

I’m using AC infinity controllers – would this be an okay time to change up the lights on timing at this point?

Wouldn’t mind adjusting the lights on time if I could but definitely don’t “need” to.

I was just discussing with my dad last week about whole house battery backup systems – if you have the $ they’re tax incentives for these systems and the price just came down. If anyone is curious just message me I can share links etc. but looks like I’m going to electrical school this week to plan for this investment.
