    Too early to tell. You’ll be able to tell if there’s a male before it can can pollinate. If it’s female then you’ll see new growth (the calyx) at the nodes at the base of the branches; that has a bulb or tear drop shape and two obvious white “hairs” growing from it. There will be a single calyx at the base of both branches on both sides. If it’s male then the growth will have a more round shape and there will be many of them rather than just one, and no white hairs.

    The pic is a little blurry but it kinda looks like this one is showing female. You can almost make out the two white pistils.

    Most males will have a small bead/button shape at the junction of the main stem, the new axial branch and the petiole.
