Only 3/5 Oreoz Germinated – Any Advice?

Just looking for some quick advice.Got mine from gorilla-cannabis-seeds.co.uk — not sure what their policy is on replacements?. Out of the five, only three germinated. I used the paper towel method and gave it a good 5–6 days. The other two haven’t cracked at all.

Here’s a quick pic of what’s growing so far:

Not sure if I should reach out about replacements, or if there’s anything else I can try with the remaining seeds. Anyone had a similar experience with these? Appreciate any tips or feedback!

Seeds are a gamble. You can try to reach out to breeder I’m sure they will take care of you. I usually have a couple give me problems, whether they pop or not.

I agree with Frank. When you buy seeds, it’s no different than buying a lottery ticket. I’ve had entire packs not pop.

Can’t hurt to reach out. Worst case scenario they say no.

Has anyone tried using “CannaKan” . It has teamed up with Seedsman to help improve germination of seeds. I bought one but was waiting on my current run to finish, just started some autos for outside and planted directly into final 7gal pot so I never used it yet. Been working on my ability to learn to clone, branching to other genetics.

I see plenty of videos with a four or five step process to germinate seeds, but I don’t want to join a 12 step program to germinate seeds. I do the following. I put my seeds in peat plugs using the standard tray w/dome, I then water them pretty good, after that I place the tray on a Vivosun heat pad made for that purpose. I have a germination rate of 90%.

I have come to believe that either germinating seeds is either incredibly easy, I have been unbelievably lucky, or what is most unlikely that I am gifted with a talent for it. I understand it to very easy.

5 days ago I treated 12 seeds as detailed above and 11 have germinated and going fine.

I have noticed a lack of uniformity in plants of the same strain from weaker breeders but not germination rates.

    Good luck going forward

The prices should all have a zero removed, then it would not bother so many a brother, if a few duds sliped into your grow.
