Anyone grown outside in the mid south,North Mississippi/ Eastern Arkansas and can give advice? Spent many years in Ukiah CA, did both indoor and outdoor? Had to relocate back to the mid-south. Want to pop a few beans for personal and have some fun. Before I order seeds, any advice on some genetics that would be more suitable for the high humidity, extremely hot summers. I am a fan of the older strains that haven’t been diluted as well. Thanks

I have no idea about growing in your area. But the pure strains you’re discussing are often called “Landrace strains”.

Oh yeah landrace strains are the cornerstone of genetics, guess I was talking more about the different ones before the whole cookie craze took over-all are hybrids but a good Haze, bubblegum, sour d, the original blueberry (dj short) some different kush phenos etc…i appreciate your response

I love skunk strains. I don’t know if I am correct regarding the classic dank (skunk smell) but I heard herb began smelling that way from the Hindu Kush strains that came in the scene in the 70s / 80s. You probably know more than I do,from what I read the old landraces (Mexican,Columbian,Thai Hawaiian etc ) didn’t have that odor. I found that interesting.
