myokgardenParticipantJuly 13, 2024 at 12:16 amI just started growing this year. Been doing the outdoor thing. Anyway, I just took some clones. How would one use this bulb properly to get them through veg? Building a greenhouse with proper lighting for their final home.

To be avoided, get some AC Infinity Ion bars can be bought as 2. They can be controlled in output. You can shine anything in a plant.. its more expensive to make this common idea, work. I have a box of them for outdoors in extending light cycle for clones, but they dont grow anything. MIGRO on youtube did a study also.

20 watts isn’t going to grow anything but a tiny seedling for the first week or two. How much space are you trying to fill? 200-300 watts of any reputable LED brand would cover a 2×4 foot space to veg a few plants. You need about 400 watts to cover a 4×4 space.

I guess I didn’t word my question correctly. I meant to get through the rooting process of cloning. I’m in a peat moss/worm castings/perlite medium and understand it takes longer in soil. Was planning on adding a good amount of window light (after rooting) along with the bulb to keep the hours of light long enough to veg a bit before I put em outside. Got a greenhouse in the works. I probably should just go ahead and get the lighting now. It will put my obsessive compulsive butt into overdrive. Seeing a box just sitting there will drive me nuts. Greenhouse will get done in no time…
