Does the coco fall into the water bucket? I was thinking a felt or coco mat over the holes to keep Bottom Reservoir clean.

No, it’s supported by the large plastic insert which also has the net pot in it.

I using 5 gallon buckets. Just enough room for small net cup

(Clone size 2″er)

That’s why I was asking if 2 or 3 net cups would work better.

Worse case, if a small 2″ net cup doesn’t wick enough, I’ll just hand water and add more net cups to the wicking system next grow. These are for my moms. Going to clone them up before the transplant.

Hello new member here. I’ve been growing in earthboxes for the last couple years and have never seen these small buckets! What’s the advantage to using the small pots? Come flower time I have a few weeks that I need to fill the 3gal res everyday/every other day. Are you guys using some type of automatic watering?

I don’t yet have it set up for automatic watering, but quite a few folks do!

Added a float valve to the lid of the res bucket with a line run from my R/O system. Using Grow Dots this system is virtually hands free besides a once a week top watering for additions like Recharge and I like to add silica.
