Slight VPD Adjustment Needed?

Some already know, but this is my first photoperiod. She’s Sensi Northern Lights at Week 8 and just got flipped to flower yesterday.

She’s showing a small bit of canoeing. Not a ton, but since I can make small adjustments with my controller, why not make her comfortable.

I did introduce FR & IR at flip while also dropping my DLI down to 25-27 to reduce flip stress.

Should I have also dropped my VPD slightly, like 0.1 min & max ranges?

I could have it coincide with my planned DLI ramp over the 3 week flower stretch.

I’m not overly concerned at all, just figured if I could make a small adjustment to make her happier, why not?

  • This is probably from the red. I wouldnt do that till buds form.

  • I may have figured it out, but would still invite input. My leaf offset somehow got reset to 0°F when I switched automations. I took a reading and set it back to -2°F.

@Newleaf put out a post that reminded me to check, so thanks man!

    • Yea there can be a big difference with a 2to3 lst difference. And thats exactly why i posted. I added a new device my under canopy lights and i had to remake automations and it was set back to 0 also

    • Thats a good chance. I dont know how all these controllers to give good input. I have classic ways still because i dont trust situations like this. Automated becomes less caring and things are missed. Good catch on your part, girls wont get away with anything lol. I thought of the red, im seeing a lot of foxtail and burn and damage since people have been getting into this spectrum stuff.

  • That seemed to do the trick! The leaf fingers are still angled, but there is zero sign of curling. I’m happy with it.

    Thanks fellas!
