lemonwhopperzParticipantNovember 10, 2025 at 3:17 pmHello,
I heard Scotty talk about Sulphur on some pests. I noticed some aphids and was spraying spinosad, citric acid, and peroxide in a rotation while in veg. I have 2 plants moving to flower so wanted to do a spray or 2 of Sulphur before flip to be sure I got them all because I still see some flying and i do t think they are gnats
Anyway, is this a good option
Any suggestions would help.
Thanks

You can use a powdered sulfur like that, but if you get a wettable version and spray it on you will get better coverage and it will not be as much powder in the air that you are breathing in. You can actually spray this up to a week or two into flower but as soon as your buds start to set you do not want to spray anymore. The biggest thing you want to make sure when you’re using any type of silver product for IPM, is that it has been at least two weeks since you have sprayed any type of oils on your plants. The oils in the sulfur do not mix and can do significant damage to your leaves and potentially even kill your plant.
My wife is allergic to sulfur so I have not been able to spray in a long time, but when I used to, the products I used were from the companies Hi-Yeild or Bonide.

Thanks for the quick reply. This one says mix 1TBS per 1L water so it can spray. However there is one called wettable sulfur so I might just get that to avoid mistake
