Hi guys and gals I grow in soil and have a 2×4 tent I have hard water out of the tap so o don’t use it my buddy said he uses rainwater. I usually use filtered water I can get for $1 for 5gals

I collected some rainwater in a plastic garbage can with the lid upside down and I use insect screen over the holes, well now I have a tent full of bugs I did look at the water for insects but saw nothing – is there anything I can do about the insects and purify the rainwater – thanks sorry for the long explanation

Can get a couple goldfish from petco for cheap. They will be more than happy to eat the mosquito larvae

I havnt had this particular issue, but I have learned not to mix outdoor variables into the indoor grow.

Youd need to filter that rainwater with a Berkey filter or the likes.
