That’s an anther that holds pollen known as a ‘nanner’ because they look like bananas. They can pop out of calyx late in flower as you can see. A pollen sac will have a cluster of anthers that forms off a stem. When we see nanners in late flower it’s a sign the girl really, really wants to reproduce. It’s too late for her to pollinate herself and produce viable seeds. Seeds take more than several weeks to properly develop. They’re annoying more than anything but can possibly pollinate younger plants around her with viable stigma ready to accept pollen. It’s also totally possible the pollen is sterile.

The original seed came from a random bud I was smoking. I would guess it would make the odd viable seed?? I’d like some more like it if possible, otherwise I will reveg it for it’s 3rd growth stage.

What happens if I leave a couple buds around that nanner when I put it back to 24/7? 🤣

When its time for your lights to turn off climb inside your tent and zip it closed, if you see any light from equipment or a light leak from a hole in the tent, that is the most likely cause of your plant herming…if you can prove that it in fact stress induced….then those seeds will be femenized (all female). If its not stress induced it was a genetic issue and you should not be getting seeds from that source…..

I had just been playing with my light timing and moved them with the daylight savings time… About 48 hours later that appeared. I checked it this morning and I have about 5-7% amber trichomes so I’m doing the final 48hours with the lights on. oh I also exposed it to cold air.. like just above freezing to get the purple to pop.. That may have contributed as well? I’m thinking to just leave a few smaller buds around where the nanners are and hope something happens while I reveg it again…
