  • looks like a fly

  • Looks lonely

  • Looks like a regular fly and not a detrimental pest. There is a great bug identification app that we use, I think it’s $15 per year and pretty helpful.

  • When only the leaf blade edges curl up typically means humidity is too low. Nothing to do with pH. This is nothing nutritional.

  • I was concerned about that as well but jmystro may have nailed it. It’s 2 weeks old, Bruce Banner auto from STRNG seeds. 70% Roots Organic Original soil, 20% castings and 10% perlite in a 5 gallon fabric pot. Currently receiving 500 ppm of Botanicare pure blend grow, every other watering. Water is always ph-ed between 5.8 and 6.8. Last water was 6.3 dead in the middle.(even though Scotty says I don’t have to🤣) I do use recharge once a week. The part I forgot is that it’s in an upstairs closet. The humidity may be a bit low like jmystro said.

  • Neither of you are concerned by the bug itself?

  • I really don’t think it’s nutritional either. I’ve never had a nutritional issue when I use Botanicare. My closet was 79° and 54% humidity. However, it just rained a bunch today. Last couple of days were dryer and the humidity varies upstairs much more than in the basement where my other plants are. I’ve added a lil humidifier to see if that’ll help on the dry days. Thank you Sir.
