So I’m at a point where I have the space with separate ventilation where I can begin to start learning something new. My first step was gathering all the basics and figuring out a way to segregate a branch repeatedly without beating the plant up too badly. Easy peasy.

I have pollinated a lady and gathered a few seeds now. Soaking a few to raise my stress level, yet again. 🤞🏼Drumroll……

It dawned on me while sipping a cup of Darjeeling with the missus a minute ago, that whilst spraying one branch down for fem seed creation, I could also have another cultivar entirely, pop into the tent so when the pollen is there, I not only grab fems on her, but I pollinate the other with her as well and create a cross….. 😳

    Economy of motion…

If all this works I’m going to apply what I’m learning CBD plants for my kids and hopefully others’ too.

So I guess I’m on the right track? Thoughts?! Pitfalls you’ve experienced or nightmares to avoid?

I’ve got the floods essentially on auto pilot now and it’s business as usual in all the other grows so I’m trying to keep my momentum and my mind off the other crap….🐝😶‍🌫️

Both plants will get covered in the pollen, don’t see why it wouldn’t work out. For those unaware don’t smoke the flower of a plant sprayed with colloidal silver.

Id love to learn this. But I want to learn how to grow in coco first started with soil because it is more forgiving of mistakes

It’ll all drive ya batty at some point!🤣 I’m getting excited again finally. Nail the environment and a strain you can manage multiple ways and go!🤘🏼

I might not create something that never existed in some other iteration, but it will be something I made manifest and that’s all any of us are chasing I guess. I’m sure it’ll get frustrating and uncomfortable a time or three even. That’s how we gain wisdom, I’m told. Stay within plant count and this can be a pretty painless adventure. 🤘🏼🤣🤘🏼

I feel like once you’ve got cloning and making selfie seeds down the sky is the limit 🙂

I like to collect pollen and save it for later. Air dry a little pollen on a glass plate for a few days then store in an airtight container with a desiccant pack. Keep it cool + dry and it will last a year or more in storage. Then you can pull it out and use a paint brush to selectively pollinate a bud or two whenever you want. 🙂👍

What about silver thiosulfate? Or is it the same thing. I ordered the thiosulfate. Should be here today. 😁 Reversing and selfing some keepers.🔥

Silver thio has a higher rate of success. You can get colloidal silver at a heath food store and thiosulfate (chlorine neutralizer) from a pool supplier and make your own too.
