Recently did a run of dj shorts blueberry F5…was not impressed with the results at all. I had 5 plants. 3 out of 5 threw anthers at week 5-6. I talked with some people and thought maybe it was my end having my lights too close. So I ran the clones I had of them to see if they hermed again with the light being at least 1-1/2 ft higher. Pulled one so far at week 3-1/2 showing signs of intersex. Just wanted to put this out there for anyone thinking of running his gear. Might do ok outside or under HPS but not LEDs. Anyone else had any issues growing his gear? Thanks in advance. DGC 🤘🏻💚

that f5 blueberry blows i didnt have herma but they didnt like any nitrogen .overall a shitty strain

The first thing you should do when growing a new cultivar is research the plant and see how the breeder creates the seeds and DJ Short is an organic farmer whose genetics respond better when you grow them the way he breeds them with a living organics system that is very balanced with nutrients and he will tell you what the best way to grow them if you contact him!

Thought I’d researched it well enough over the several interviews I had watched and the awards he has won with the strain. He even sends cards with the beans kinda going over their growth cycles and little details about the plants to expect. saying to switch light cycle to 11/13. Never says anything about unstable genetics under LEDs.. or even a type of light used. I was worried it was going to be an issue going into it trying to find the 2000 blueberry since he doesn’t use LEDs.. turns out I was correct. Just passing information along is my goal at this point.
