    Hello fellow growmies,

I have a quick question for the community. I recently purchased a set of Spider Farmer supplemental UV light bars and I’m wondering if these can be run during the dark period without them interfering with my flowering? Is there a chance that running these during my plants sleep phase could cause the dreaded nanners?

As far as I know; you should only use uv lighting for 1 or 2 hours a day. Usually just before lights out, but I would definitely Not run uv when light are off.

No spectrum is beneficial during the dark period. Green is the only acceptable spectrum you can use to work under that does not affect photosystems l or II during the dark cycle.

I would think not. Dark period is supposed to be… dark (with the possible exception of Far red/IR for maybe 15 minutes as the lights turn off.) What is your goal with running UV at night?
